Things are moving right along. The big new is that our Butler house is now under agreement! Yippee! The electric and plumbing was nearly finished this week. The only thing left is putting the heating in the kitchen and master bath floor so our feet will be nice and toasty on cold mornings! The inspectors will come then the walls will be closed up and things will really be going fast. We are shooting for 8 weeks from this coming Monday. Which means we will be living with Ashley (and Simon and Callie, our grand dogs) for a couple of weeks.
We picked out the carpeting today. I also received the sample tiles for the 2nd floor bathroom. I think the colors are pretty cool.
These are the accent tiles for the white subway tile we are putting in the shower. The stained glass has these colors in them.
The plumbing and electric makes for boring pictures but it's oh so important!
This shows the toilet and shower plumbing that they've added this week to our master bath. This was a bedroom that is right next to the master bedroom that we're converting to a master bath with washer/dryer closet.
They should start outside with the cleaning up and painting. The scraping of the outside wood trim will take 3 days. Hopefully, winter will be over next week!
We also got our sample kitchen cabinet in. We are getting ice white shaker cabinets with satin nickel hardware. It's getting exciting!
